Reinforcement Materials

Reinforcement materials to support and maintain the shape of the leather. The materials are specially designed to give leather a soft and supple feel and provide extra support in bags, wallets, belts and leather goods in general.

Leatherboard

  • Ecological leatherboard material, ideal for supporting leather goods in general, with high density and pastiness, calendered with satin finishing on both sides.

    • Excellent tensile and tear resistance

    • Very soft and flexible hand

    • Thicknesses: from 0.3 to 1mm

Lefapel SL

Leatherboard

  • Ecological material in leatherboard ideal as a support in bags and small leather goods. Slightly calendared on one side, it has moderate traction and tear resistance. Suitable for the production of economic items.

    Also supplied in adhesive and thermoadhesive.

    • Thicknesses: 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1mm

Lefabelt

  • Ecological material in highly resistant leatherboard used as a support inside belts and shoulder straps.

Cellsan Leather Goods

Cellulose Board

  • Cellulosic reinforcement material used as a structural support for bags, suitcases and backpacks.

    • It can be used to stiffen the base of bags, ensuring strength, lightness and shape

    • Thicknesses: from 0.5-1mm

    • Colours: White and Black

Cellsan Brown

Cellulose Board

  • Medium-high quality cellulosic board that gives a very soft and compact hand to all creations in the leather goods.

    • Cellulosic material characterized by a high quantity of virgin cellulose in its mixture

    • Thicknesses: from 0.80 to 3.00 mm

PI.TEX Pidisoft 2B

Extruded Material

  • Material composed of a base of thermoplastic polymers supported by two non-woven layers. It maintains a softer and less “noisy” hand, guaranteeing the roundness and memory of the shapes.

    • Inalterability from any atmospheric effect (humidity, hot / cold)

    • Non-deformability even when subjected to repeated stresses (bending)

    • Thermoformability between 70 - 110 ° C

    • Softness to the touch keeping the body during the skiving and sanding operation

    • Composition: TNT + thermoplastic polymers

    • Thicknesses: 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9mm

    • Roll length: 150cm

    • Colours: Black and White

    It can also be supplied with adhesive or hot-melt adhesive.

PI.TEX Pidimix 2B

AGOTEX 1000/Elast

Non Woven Material

  • Recommended support material for very fine leathers. Its properties give a soft and elastic hand to the skin. It can be uses as non-slip material.

AGOTEX 100

Non Woven Material

  • Material used as reinforcement in leather goods and in lamination in general.

    • Compared to Agotex 1000/Elast. the hand is more rigid and resistant. Extremely suitable as support / reinforcement in belts, platforms of bags and shoulder straps.

    • Composition: 100% PES

    • Thicknesses: 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 mm

    • Colours: Anthracite, White, Beige

Glass Wool

High-Tenacity Material

  • Backing recommended for eyelets and for the areas of the leathers where high stress and high resistance are required.

    • High tear resistance

    • Available in two versions: light and heavy

    • Composition: Polypropylene non-woven

    • Light version: 110 g/m²

    • Heavy version: 190 g/m²

Extra Foil 235D

High-Tenacity Material

  • Adhesive sheet in high tenacity tear-proof material suitable for reinforcing large leather surfaces in bags and leather goods.
