Duralite Composites is a range of performance fibre reinforced composite materials for the construction of orthopaedic and orthotic components. Duralite proprietary technology has advantages over other thermoplastic technologies in the method that the materials are produced, which leads to greater consistency and accuracy. Duralite composites have high durability with excellent damping and shock attenaution and resiliency which results in enhanced energy return and response. The composites provide superior stability and support, yet are lightweight and thin to reduce fatigue and stress.

Carbon Fibre Composite

  • Duralite Carbon is a unique thermoplastic composite sheet material consisting from woven carbon fibre layers with a thermoplastic matrix. The continuous weaving provides a high resistance against flexing and torsional movement at the lowest material volume and unitary weight.

  • Available thicknesses: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.00mm

    Sheet size: 100x86cm sheets, as well as customized components upon request.

Duralite Mix

Carbon/Glass Fibre Composite

  • Duralite Mix is a unique thermoplastic composite sheet material consisting of woven carbon fibre and glass fibre layers with a thermoplastic matrix. The continuous weaving provides a high resistance against flexing and torsional movement at the lowest material volume and unitary weight.

  • Available thicknesses: 0.75, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00, 2.00 plus, 2.50, 3.00mm

    Sheet size: 100x62cm sheets, as well as customized components upon request.

Duralite Glass

Glass Fibre Composite

  • Duralite glass fibre is an unique thermoplastic composite sheet material consisting from woven glass fibre layers with a thermoplastic matrix. The continuous weaving provides a moderate resistance against flexing and torsional movement at a low material volume and unitary weight.

    Duralite glass sheets are slightly more flexible compared to carbon/glass sheets and full carbon sheets.

  • Available thicknesses: 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.50, 2.00mm

    Sheet size: 100x82cm sheets, as well as customized components upon request.
