Backing Fabrics & Jersey

  • Backing Fabrics

    Classic range of backing fabrics used in the footwear industry. Each product have special characteristics which improve the materials they are laminated to.

    Jersey

    100% cotton fabrics used specifically for upper moulding. The characteristic jersey exensibility and the properties of the thermoadhesive guarantee an easy and resistant moulding of the upper, enabling the optimization of the characteristics of the leather.

    • Tela 20.24- 100% calendered cotton, suitable for plane backing fabrics. 150gr

    • Reps 1- 100% cotton raised fabric, suitable for soft backings and boot legs. 110gr

    • Reps 2- Mixed cotton raised fabric, suitable for thicker backings and boot legs. 155gr

    • Africa- 200gr classic uncovered or covered backing suitable for all uses. Mixed cotton.

    • Drill Cot- 100% cotton used as heavy backing or lining. It can be dyed or printed. 270gr

    • PORDOI- Double-body soft material, guarantees resistant moulding without an extensive stiffness.

    • GRAN SASSO- Double-knit, suitable for a resistant moulding, it can be an alternative to doubled bodied materials

    • NEVEGAL- Suitable for a resistant moulding

    • MYSTI- Suitable for resistant moulding

    • STELVIO- It is a thin and light material that reinforces the moulding without stiffning it

    • CERVINO- Very soft material, suitable for light mouldings on leathers that cannot be marked

Non-Woven Backing

  • Non-Woven backing suitable for shoes that require resistance. Ideal for reinforcing leather and fabrics.

Glass Fibre Backing

  • Glass fibre backings used to strengthen eyelets and areas of the upper which have to endure stress and wear resistance.

    Available in adhesive in light and heavy versions.

Extra Foil 235D

High-Tenacity Material

  • Extremely high tenacity material, suitable to support any kind of leather or fabric. It guarantees roundness, stability and dimensional resistance.

    • Possibility to cut to any shape

    • Easy to apply thanks to the bi-silicone paper support

    • Composition: High tenacity polyester
